Solid White Oak Bookcase
This bookcase is 9 feet tall and 13 feet wide. Features 31 shelves, and four cabinets. Project was completed in 3 months. Total of 190 board feet used. Natural 5/4 White Oak sanded down to 4/4 and finished with Rubio Monocoat. The Cabinet fronts were grained matched from left to right.

High Top Solid Wood Dining Table
Stands 38″ from the floor. The legs utilize a classic mortise and tenon joint as well as two square mortise dowels for added strength. The top of the legs is joined to the underside of the table with a mortise and tenon joint and a machine bolt links each leg to the strongbacks of the table. Custom self levelling feet were recessed. Finishing was completed by hand buffing for 10 hours total until a mirror finish was achieved!! Total project time 153 hours

Stair Trend Renovation
This client had a previous carpenter remove carpet and install new tread and risers in preparation for new stain and finish. The last photo (6 of 6) visually shows the inadequate framing left behind by the previous “carpenter”. The tread on the bottom three stairs squeaked terribly. New framing was installed and new tread was glued and nailed down. Nothing beats a solid, no noise, set of stairs!

His/Her (Aromatic) Eastern Red Cedar Nightstands
This nightstand features a book matched style top bordered with Walnut and Red Oak. Each side leg includes a jointed piece of Honey Locust and Western Red Cedar. The drawer is constructed of red oak with walnut dowel inlays for mechanical support.

Sofa Table
This sofa table is DIY achievable! The lumber was purchased from Home Depot. Total time spent on construction was three days, two days for the sofa table and one day for the groove needed for the lights under the sofa. This is one of those projects that looks unique, and you cannot imagine living without once installed. The finish applied generated a flat sheen.

White Oak Desk with Custom Inlays
This White Oak desk includes biscuits to prevent vertical movement of the joints. Custom dog bone and seagull inlays. The legs are black steel X’s. The profile around the edges is a simple and very clean roundover.

Black Walnut Countertops
These Black Walnut Countertops are 1 1/4″ thick. Finished with Oil Based Polyurethane and then conditioned with Howard’s Butcher Block Conditioner. The finish has been rubbed out to a Satin sheen.

Floating Red Oak Nightstands
This nightstand features rounded corners with a thin strip of inlaid walnut on the sides. Mounted to the wall with a french cleat system. A natural rub on finish was used making maintenance easy and simple.
