Stair Trend Renovation

This client had a previous carpenter remove carpet and install new tread and risers in preparation for new stain and finish. The last photo (6 of 6) visually shows the inadequate framing left behind by the previous “carpenter”. The tread on the bottom three stairs squeaked terribly. New framing was installed and new tread was glued and nailed down. Nothing beats a solid, no noise, set of stairs!
